CORRELATION BETWEEN POPULATION DENSITY, CURE RATE, MORTALITY RATE WITH TB AFB+ INCIDENCE IN SURABAYA 2018-2020

Background: In 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) stated that as many 10 million people suffered from tuberculosis and 1.5 died, making it 13th cause of death in world's top infectious killer number two after COVID-19. The incidence Acid-fast bacillus (AFB)+ Tuberculosis TB Surabaya increased 2018 to 2020. Purpose: This study aimed describe distribution AFB+ by mapping analyze relationship between population density, cure rates, rates during treatment with AFB + 31 sub-districts City Methods: was a descriptive secondary data processing obtained Profile Book 2018-2020 using Pearson Correlation Product Moment statistical test. Results: There correlation density (0.61), 2019 (0.65), 2020 (0.62). Then there rate (0.98), (0.96), (0.91). mortality (0.31), (0.71), (0.88). Conclusion: is rate, treatment, Surabaya.
